Coaching drill – Any direction touch, this works on peripheral vision, recognising space and gaps and awareness and of course fitness. Two teams in even numbers normally played on half a pitch but this can be extended if there are a lot of players. Both teams are given an end to attack and score a try. On scoring a try the team then turns around and attacks the other try line. The team in possession keeps the ball until they are touched by an opposition player, the ball touches the floor or an interception is made. The game can be set to a score limit or time limit.
